Bruce Carson, CEO and President.
Bruce Carson (B.Sc.) has been involved in the oil and gas business since 1982, when, after a successful career in Calgary as a stock broker and head of corporate finance for Hampton Securities he started Khazana Resources Ltd. along with 3 partners. Within 8 years, net assets grew to over $40 million. Mr. Carson was CEO of Khazana and most of the companies spawned from the parent, including two public companies, Alberta Resource Capital Corporation (the first Junior Capital Pool in Alberta) and Consolidated Cambridge Mines Inc. He was also VP of Pacer Geophysical, an acquired company in the oilfield service industry. Mr. Carson sold his interests in these companies in 1992, when he moved from Calgary to Victoria, B.C. Since then, through his private company, Carson Enterprises, he continues to seek out opportunities in the oil and gas sector. Carson Enterprises has raised money for a number of exploration plays and was instrumental in creating McOil Resources Ltd. McOil brings together innovative engineering with specific opportunities, particularly in the recovery and transportation of natural gas. Mr. Carson is President and CEO of McOil Resources Ltd.

 

Ricardo Khayatte, Vice President and Director
Mr. Ricardo Khayatte is the founder and president of South American Business Development Corporation. Ricardo has had more than 20 years of success in developing business between North and South America. He specializes in opening Latin American markets for U.S. and Canadian technology companies. Born and raised in Chile and Argentina, Mr. Khayatte has an extensive network of high-level contacts throughout the Americas, particularly in the IT and telecom industries. He has served as President and CEO of large organizations; Viplastic Chile (1600 employees) and T.C.S.A. (1500 employees) as well as technology companies; Qdata Software Inc., and ITS Impact Technology Solutions. Mr. Khayatte has a strong combination of entrepreneurial and managerial skills with considerable deal-making experience. Ricardo is a member of the Canadian Council of the Americas and serves on the board of several companies in South America. For the past ten years he has lived and currently resides in Vancouver, British Columbia. He is the Business Development Officer and Director of McOil Resources Ltd.

 

Juan Vicente Santa Cruz, Argentina
Mr. Santa Cruz (Director-Argentina) is an attorney at law, specializing in the commercialization of products and services new to the Argentinean market. Born in Chile and Educated in law and business at the Universidad Catolica de Chile, Mr. Santa Cruz served for some time as the Business Attaché of the Chilean Embassy in Argentina. He has also worked for American Express, as well as other large Firms in the financial sector. He is a Director of McOil Resources Ltd. and leads our presence in Argentina.

 

Joao Carlos Keunecke, Brazil
Mr. Keunecke (Director-Brazil) has spent his professional career of almost 30 years launching new companies and products into the Brazilian market place. Educated as an economist, he is well regarded and well connected in the industry of Brazil. He founded an electronic measurement products company, KLD, which quickly reached the number two-market position in Brazil. As a consequence of this success, he was given the international distribution rights for one of Brazil's larger technology manufacturers, Filizola. Mr. Keunecke heads up McOil's office in Brazil.
